Born from the Grind

Before Next Percent was a brand, it was a necessity. As runners in the Break 3 Running Club (B3RC), we knew the physical toll of high-mileage training. We were putting in the work, but heavy, fatigued legs were holding us back. While air compression boots offered an elite at-home solution, their $1,000+ price tag made them a luxury most everyday athletes simply couldn’t afford. We were tired of being priced out of proper recovery.

The 500-Unit Accident

Founders Franz (ex-IT engineer) and Tim (mechanical engineer) decided to build a better solution. Combining their expertise, they engineered a prototype that rivaled big-name performance at a fraction of the cost.

The plan was just to manufacture a small batch for friends, but the factory required a minimum order of 500 units. To offload the extras, we rented a modest booth at the 2025 Sydney Marathon Expo.

We sold out entirely.
Athletes loved the technology but hated the retail price shock of traditional brands. They were hungry for an affordable alternative that didn't compromise on quality. From that expo, Next Percent was officially born.

We are proud to launch our new three-tier boot lineup—The Essential, The Performance, and The Athlete—designed to deliver the optimal 45-minute recovery window for everyone from beginners to pros. Fueled by our initial success, we are also expanding our catalog to include BFR bands and bringing our gear directly to grassroots rugby, soccer, and volleyball clubs across Australia.
